Kodak Six-20 Brownie (Portrait 4-6ft)

Kodak Brownie SIX-20 portrait camera

The Kodak Six-20 Brownie (Portrait model 4-6ft) was manufactured in London in 1940. There were a number of Six-20’s built but this one was built for portraits.
It has a pull out slider with an extra lens for close up portraits from 4 to 6 feet from the camera. There was another model made for portraits 3 to 4ft away from the camera.

The camera uses 620 film with an image size of 57.2mm x 82.6mm (2¼ x 3¼ inch) so it is also a medium format camera.
It has a metal body covered in fake leather. There are 2 viewfinders (portrait and landscape views) and a removable film roll holder.

This model also allows a fast shutter snapshot mode and a manual shutter open/close mode. The original selling price was around $5.00

If anyone has more information like the original price of the 127’s please leave a comment.
